Introduction;

Popular among the trekkers, Thale LA is a non-glaciated trek offering panoramic views. The trek crosses the 4572m high Thale Pass that connects Thale valley with Shigar. It can be done from either direction, however Thale to Shigar direction is more widely followed. The trek offers beautiful views and mesmerizing scenery with towering peaks and lush meadows.

Itinerary

Arrival of participants in Skardu and transferred to Concordia Motel or equivalent.

Drive from Skardu to Thale alley for two hours and then to the Thale Broq . (3100m) campsite after that, and use your afternoon free time to go for a quick walk. Overnight in camps.

Start your walk through gorgeous, green meadows after breakfast in Thale Brouq. Walk up to the high camp from Dubla Khan (3850m). Overnight in camps.

After hiking for two hours, we will arrive at the top of Thale LA (4800 m). Following a brief stay, we will go down to the Shigar side's Camp 3. Overnight in camps (3750m).

Trek across the lovely grasslands on your way down to Shigar. Drive back to Skardu.
