Introduction:

Patundas is a summer pasture at 4183m on the ridge between two massive glaciers i.e. Passu and Batura. The views from Patundas is spectacular in all directions and it is quite enjoyable to stroll through the alpine meadows for hours along the ridge top. This is one of the most beautiful treks in Hunza valley.

Itinerary

Arrival of participants in Hunza and transferred to hotel.

A moderate day trek takes you from Gulmit through Kamaris to Ghulkin glacier and eventually to Borith Lake. Overnight Camping at Upper Borith Lake.

Continue the trek to Lazhdar before approaching Lazhdar. Cross the Passu white Glacier. The Lazhdar is an unused pasture at 3400 m. Overnight camping at Luzdhar.

This is a climb gaining 800 m altitude to Pantandas Pasture on the top of the ridge between Passu and Batura glaciers. This trek takes you to the fascinating area of Upper Hunza, the highlight being Patundas Meadows 4,575 meters. Overnight Camping at Patundass Meadows.

Free day at Patundas Meadows to explore the area. Overnight camping at Patundas meadows.

Trek back to Borith Lake then drive to Gulmit. Arrival in Gulmit check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gulmit.
