Introduction:

Burji La is a mountain pass between Skardu and the Deosai plains It is famous for its beautiful, panoramic view
of K2, Mashabrum, Chogolisa, Laila Peak, Golden Peak, Nanga Parbat, GI, GII, GIV and Broad Peak. According
to the old people of Skardu, Burji La was once a busy mountain pass and the main route connecting Astore valley and Gultari valley to Skardu before road access was established. The pass is best approached from the Deosai plateau.

Itinerary

Arrival of participants in Skardu and transferred to Concordia Motel or equivalent.

Departure for Deosai at 12pm. 2.5 hours jeep ride to Deosai plains. Arrival at Deosai Top at 3pm, camp set up and lunch. Night at Deosai Top in camps.

Trek begins with 2 hours ascent. Night at Gujjar camp

Trek start towards Sadpara Camp, lunch break before pass crossing. Pass crossing at 4800m (steep ascent near pass for 1 hour). Night at Sadpara camp.

Trek back towards Sadpara camp. Jeep ride till Skardu city (30 minutes).
