Introduction:

Karomber Lake is one of the most beautiful, serene, and pure lakes of Pakistan. It is also the second highest alpine lake of the country. The water in the lake is clear and shiny. The snow-capped mountains around the lake are a treat to watch. Located one mile from Karomber Pass that connects Broghil with Ghizer district, Karomber Lake is situated. The lake is 4,300 meters long and is ranked the 31st highest lake in the world.

Itinerary

Breakfast in Chitral. Drive to Mastuj in 4x4 jeeps Lunch at Mastuj. Continue journey towards Yarkhun valley. Stay at a local guest house in Yarkhun valley.

Continue the journey on Broghil road. Arrive in Lashkargaz, the last jeep able point. Stay at a local guest house in Lashkargaz.

Early morning breakfast and departure from Lashkargaz. Travel through meadows and streams along the Broghil valley. Arrive at Karomber lake in late evening.

Rest/Contingency day at Karomber.

Early morning breakfast and departure from Karomber for the return journey via same route. Arrive at Lashkargaz. Transfer to 4x4 vehicles and drive to Yarkhun valley. Stay at a local guest house in Yarkhoon Lasht.

Continue the journey on Yarkhun road. Lunch in Mastuj. Continue travel for Chitral. Arrive in Chitral late evening.
