Laila Peak Basecamp Trek
Introduction:
Laila Peak at 6092m is one of the most attractive peaks of the region. The trek to the basecamp of Laila Peak is a stunning trekking route located in the Hushe Valley of the Central Karakoram National Park. Starting from the Hushe village, the trek offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers, including the Masherbrum (7281m) also known as K1 along with K6. This trek is popular among adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers who seek to explore the beauty of the Karakoram Mountains. The trek is in a restricted zone and needs a special permit.

Itinerary
Arrival of participants in Skardu and transferred to Concordia Motel or equivalent.
Drive from Skardu to Hushe. Lunch at Khaplu. Stay overnight at Refugio Hotel.
Start the trek from Hushe village, passing through the beautiful Hushe Valley towards Siacho camp (3400m). Overnight in camps.
We will leave the Siacho camp early in the morning. The terrain is slightly steep today and we’ll camp at Dalchampa in front of Masherbrum peak (4300m). Overnight in camps.
This is a critical day of the trek. The day we will climb upto Gondogoro glacier and trek for next 5-6 hours on the glacier till Khuspang Camp. Camp at Khuspang in front of Laila Peak (6096m).
We’ll resume the trek to Siacho campsite and trek on the Gondogoro glacier till Dalchampa. Lunch at Dalchampa. Resume trek to Siacho through the pastures of Gondogoro and camp at Siacho campsite.
Trek back to Hushe. Shifted to booked vehicles and drove back to Skardu.
