Itinerary
Departure from Islamabad to Chitral by Hindukush Express at 8 pm.
Early morning arrival in Chitral. Transfer to 4x4 vehicle. Breakfast in Chitral Town. Departure for Golen Valley. Arrive and night stay at Golen Valley in camps.
Gear up and start of trekking in the side valley. Ascend gradually and reach Darkhtan or Krui Utz summer settlement. Overnight stay in camps.
Early morning wake-up and departure for the trek. Ascend steeply in the last section and reach Lohigol Pass (4100m). Descend towards Ghocharsar summer settlement. Overnight stay in camps.
Start the last leg of the trek and descend towards Madaglasht. Arrive in Madaglasht. Lunch break. Transfer to 4x4 vehicles and reach Drosh. Dinner. Take the Hindukush Express bus and arrive in Islamabad early in the morning.
