Introduction:

Musa ka Musalla (which translates to Moses’ Mat, and abbreviated as MKM) is a 4,080m high peak in Siran Valley, Mansehra. It has relatively easy access and can be summited all year around. It is accessed through the town of Manda Kucha which itself can be accessed fairly easily through the Hazara Motorway.

Itinerary

Departure for Jabori/Manda Kucha at 6 PM via booked transport. Arrival in Jabori at 10 PM. Dinner. Stay overnight at a local village guest house.

Transfer to Jeep. Drive to Jaba. Trek to Bari Baihk summer settlement. Overnight in Tents/Hut.

Predawn wakeup and departure for MKM summit push. MKM Summit (4080m) and return to Bari Baihk settlement.

Descend back to Jaba. Transfer to Jeep. Arrive in Manda Kucha. Transfer to Van. Departure for Islamabad. Lunch enroute at Shinkiari. Arrival in Islamabad late evening.
