Nanga Parbat Basecamp Rupal Face Trek
Introduction:
Nanga Parbat’s awesome south, or Rupal face rises 4572 m from the floor of the Rupal Gah creating the greatest
vertical rise from basecamp to summit of any peak. The easy trailsand two short nontechnical glacier crossings
bring you directly beneath it for breathtaking close up views. The Rupal Gah although popular, is less frequently visited than fairy meadows. In summers, the trek is easy and you walk through the green pastures of Rupal valley and can reach the basecamp in 3 to 4 hours further up, we will move towards Lataboh and Shigiri camp.

Itinerary
Departure from Isb ( 8pm). Road travel for 15 to 16 hours till first stay.
Arrival of participants in Astore. Transferred to 4x4 jeeps and drive to Tarishing. Transferred to hotel.
Start of the trek. Reach Herrligkoffer basecamp around 2pm. Lucnh and rest, Dinner. Night stay at Herrligkoffer basecamp (3500m). Night stay in camps.
Trek towards Latoboh campsite. Glacier crossing for 1.5 hours. Reach Lataboh campsite, lunch and rest. Hike towards Lataboh lake (40 mints) for sunset. Night stay at Lataboh campsite (3650m).
Early morning trek to shigiri camp. Trek back towards Herrligkoffer. Night stay at Herrligkoffer basecamp.
Trek back towards Trashing from Herriligkoffer Basecamp. Night stay in hotel.
Early morning departure for isb (3 am)
