Introduction:

The Rakaposhi Base Camp trek is an exciting journey through the beautiful Karakoram Mountains in Pakistan. Starting in the pretty Nagar Valley, hikers pass through green meadows, lovely settlements, and dense forests, enjoying views of tall peaks like Ultar Sar and Ladyfinger Peak at one end and Rakaposhi and Diran on the other. The trail leads to a base camp at around 4,000 meters, offering stunning views of Rakaposhi and the Hopper Glacier. The massive peaks of Rakaposhi at 7788m and Diran at 7266m are the main highlights of this trek.

Itinerary

Arrival of participants in Hunza. Night Stay in Hotel.

Drive from Hunza to Minapin. Gear up and leave for Hapakun. Reach Hapakun Campsite. Overnight in Camps.

Start of trek from Hapakun to Taghafari. Reach Taghafari (Rakaposhi Basecamp) and explore the surroundings including Minapin glacier. Overnight in Camps.

Descend to Minapin. Arrive at Osho Thang. Checkin + Lunch. Overnight stay in Hotel. Enjoy the special traditional Nagar food in Dinner.

Breakfast at Oshothang. Drive back to Hunza.
